Prepare for employment as a cosmetologist! Course topics include anatomy, safety/sanitation, ethics, hair styling, cutting, coloring, setting, perming, conditioning treatments, make up, skin care, facial, manicures, pedicures, artificial nails, and wraps.

Cosmetology requires that all applicants take a reading assessment that needs to be passed at a 9th grade reading level.  The exam will be scheduled once the application and high school or GED diploma are received, and enrollment opens in June.

Certification: Students who successfully complete this course and required hours will earn a temporary cosmetology license. Students must take and pass the NYS Licensing Board Exam to obtain their permanent license.

   Dates:  9/4/2025 - 7/30/2026
   Hours:  1,000 (class, shadowing, projects, and community service)
   Days:    Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
   Time:    3:30 - 9:00 pm
   Tuition: $10,661
 
   Tuition includes a Cosmetology starter kit.
