A massive, multi-year construction project will help a learning center in the Southern Tier meet the growing need for trades workers. Congratulations to our BOCES Board member Peter Nowacki who has been elected as the Area 4 Director of the New York State School Boards Association. Nowacki is currently the president of the board of education for the Windsor Central School District and will begin his term on Jan. 1, 2024. 

Sandra Ruffo, president of the Broome-Tioga BOCES board and a past president of the Susquehanna Valley School Board, has been elected president of the New York State School Boards Association.

Thanks to your unwavering support and the affirmative vote, our capital project is set to become a reality. The official vote was 1031 yes votes to 160 no votes. This marks a significant milestone in our continuous endeavor to provide outstanding educational opportunities and facilities for our students and staff.
